Ever since I walked into the publishing house of the Sun/Weekend newspapers in Sri Lanka for the first time in 1978, the thrill of journalism has been my guiding force. In the ensuing years I have covered a bit of ground in editing, writing, page designing and mentoring. I worked for major news agencies AP and BBC, newspapers and magazines in Sri Lanka, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, London, and Sydney. Along the way, I have been privileged to be a part of historic times, writing about the great and small, because they all have stories to tell. After all, I am a storyteller.
